We are pleased to announce that the Plastics Cluster (PLASTR) – a professional association that today connects more than 60 companies in the field of plastics processing – has become a member of the Plastics Recycling Association (ARP).
Plastr represents a wide range of companies – from primary plastics producers to companies specializing in recycling and secondary raw materials. This cross-industry overlap is key for us at ARP. Only close cooperation across the entire plastics industry can lead to the effective implementation of circular economy principles and higher recycling rates.
The plastics industry is one of the pillars of the Czech economy. It employs tens of thousands of people and brings innovation to the automotive, construction, packaging and consumer industries. But its future must be sustainable – both in terms of ecology and availability of materials.
We believe that joining forces with PLASTR will bring new opportunities to share know-how, connect company initiatives and jointly push for changes that will help not only the industry but society as a whole.
